"Ah- my friends and I," he said, rubbing the back of his head awkwardly. "Hestia and Tonks," was added a few moments later when he figured she'd want more elaboration. He smiled, despite not wanting to talk about either of the women he'd been friends with in school.
Charlie nodded solemnly. "Ever. Well, not at any of us. Pretty sure I've messed up royally this time." His laugh was nervous and he found himself wondering just how ashamed his mother had meant by the words "never so ashamed".
"Stop...seeing me. I don't want to cause problems with your brother." He frowned, still not liking the suggestion.
He focused hard on the parchment her was writing on when he heard her comment, trying to keep the blush from his face. "I happen to think it's very cute on you."
