Lisa waited impatiently for Terry to return. She was typically an impatient person, so it was increased even more because she hadn't seen her best friend in two years and wanted to see him again. It couldn't have anything to do with her feelings either, now could it?
When he finally came back into the room, letting her know he sent the owl, she smiled at him and gave a slight nod in acknowledgment. She didn't doubt that the professor would want to see her soon, and she was okay with that. Right now she just wanted to spend time with Terry.
Hearing him ask what it was like, she sighed softly and closed her eyes. Where did one even begin. Biting her lip gently, she reopened her eyes. "I'll tell you," she answered, "but first... is everything okay between us? I have to know." I've been driving myself completely mad with worry and guilt.
