Verity made an 'oops' face when he pointed out he wasn't used to any of those things. The comment about beauty made her roll her eyes with a small smile, but the light blush gave her away. "Well I pray you never get used to that. It would make the world a boring place," she countered.
She returned the toast and raised her glass to her lips. The drink was good- better than she could afford, for sure. However, her eyes were on him, wondering what his opinion was. "Verdict?"
It was hard to hide her smile at his assesment. "Think so?" she asked, disagreeing with him. She knew it wouldn't likely mean anything to him, but she thought she ought to try. "See these glasses?" she indicated, "Look at the way they are formed, there was a lot of attention- though subtle- to their design. The light colouring, the shape, the crystal- it's all meant to be more beautiful. Or the desgin on the silver... it's all about the little details," she pointed out. Of course her mini-lecture meant she hadn't looked at the menu- oops.
