George laughed as she began to joke with him, seemingly loosening up. He didn't know if she'd just been worried because she was so late, or because he had new robes or what, but it seemed to be going away now. "You're right, how ridiculous of me. Obviously, I'll need to take you next time." Then it was his turn to try and accept a compliment. "Thanks. Good to hear I didn't do too badly."
At the mention of the uniforms, George laughed heartily. "Obviously we'll need new ones. I'll even let you design them, if it'll make you happy?"
George nodded. "I made reservations and everything. Crazy, I know." At her decision to apparate, he nodded, and he led her to a nearby alleyway that was dark enough that their disappearance wouldn't be noticed. Once they were underneath the shadows, he stepped close to her (but not too close. He was a gentleman after all, and from what he could tell they were only friends) and took her arm, quickly apparating them a few miles across town.
"Here we are," he said as they arrived, motioning over to the nearby hotel, The Dorchester. "I made reservations at The Alain Ducasse. Have you been here before? Because I sure haven't."
