"Oh, it was lovely out. One of England's rare sunny day's," she joked.
Rolling her eyes and sighing in joking exasperation, Mandy said, "No, I got to sketch a rather fetching photographer, while he took pictures of me. It was a rather interesting experience, to be sure."
She nodded in enthusiastic agreement as Kat bemoaned the lack of Quidditch gossip. "It's really put a damper on things! It would be really nice to just go see a match, any match, really!"
It was one of the things she'd found herself missing. Though she worried that going to a professional match might force unpleasant memories to the surface, she was determined not to lose her love of the sport.
"We should go shopping sometime! It would be quite fun to have a friend to go out with!" It wasn't that she minded shopping with her aunt, it was just that Aunt Natalie preferred Muggle shopping and rarely ventured into the Wizarding World, though Mandy knew her aunt read Witch Weekly religiously.
