“Hmmm,” Mandy jokingly tapped her lip as if considering it. “You’re right. I might have to look it up and see!” She laughed lightly.
“Running in the park? It’s funny you should say that. I was just in London last week sketching some women running in the park.”
Being reminded of that brought back memories of what happened after she’d sketched the women, of Chuck and his unhinging of her emotions. She blushed lightly at the memory, but took a drink of her butterbeer to distract herself.
“Oh, not much either. I love dancing and watching Quidditch, though there hasn’t been much opportunity to watch Quidditch in the last year or so,” she said with a little roll of her eyes. It was an understatement, really. “Shopping’s fun, too, but I haven’t had any girlfriends to go out shopping with in a long time.”
She really did miss Lisa and hoped to hear from her soon. Maybe she’d decided to abandon the magical world and live as a Muggle. She hoped it was that and not the overly depressing alternative.
