Familiar surroundings and a better reputation for being family-friendly -- most of the people in here had kids or were from the older set that didn't do nightclubs, and while the Pixie wasn't a nightclub during the day, it still carried that reputation a little.
"Great." She smiled at her new table-mate as she sat down; it would be nice to have someone to eat with for a change that she wasn't planning on dragging information from.
Kat looked mildly surprised that she knew her name, and for a second, a little uncertain. "Yes. Please tell me my reputation somehow precedes me and we haven't met before. I'd be horribly embarrassed if I forgot your name."
Actually, she was worried that somehow they'd met before and she didn't remember; that happened just enough, and with such confusing results, that Kat worried over it when she met people.
