The sweet scent of Kat's butterbeer wafted over to her and Mandy felt her mouth water in response. It had been too long since she'd enjoyed a simple butterbeer. Sixth Year Hogsmeade trips seemed so long ago. She made a mental note to order one with her lunch.
"I know! You'd think that with the Pixie open, it would lighten the crowd here, but I suppose there's something to be said for familiar surroundings," she said with a grin. "Not meeting anyone either. Let's sit then."
Maybe it was the knowledge that she wouldn't have to sit near the whining child (whose father was two seconds away from pulling out his wand and placing a Silencing Hex on him), but Mandy was in a particularly good mood today. It might also be that she'd picked up a new client.
"Kat Bundy, right?" she asked, though she already knew the answer. She introduced herself with a grin, "I'm Mandy Brocklehurst."
