Summary: Miles sends off his plans for the new club, and celebrates
Miles made himself a celebratory drink. He didn't think it was premature. He'd laboured over the plans and details of his club nearly all week, and now he'd sent the plans off to the Ministry.
It was with an immense sense of satisfaction that he took the drink, and now he only waited for the owl from the Ministry telling him that he was a genius, and an entrepreneur for a new era of wizarding business. How could they not like his plans?
Sitting back in the chair in the library, he surveyed the grounds at Bletchley Park. This club was only the beginning. 'The Bletchley' would become world renowned, with wizards from all over Europe clamouring for membership. He'd already planned out his scheme for allowing membership, and he knew they could still keep the place from being invaded by riff-raff, even whilst it would look like they could open their arms to any wizard.
He was smirking in a most self satisfied way as he sipped on the Martini. He was already going to owl the finest barmen, chefs and staff, eager to engage their services.
He thought about mailing West and Ver, but figured he'd wait until the Ministry had sung his praises and approved the club. After all, he was going to need all the help he could get from them as the club was being built. He'd already engaged the wizards to fit out the place, paying top price to secure their services.
As he mulled over his incumbent victory, he thought about heading out to a Muggle club and really celebrate. But his little run-in with Daphne the week before told him that he needed to be even more careful. He wasn't going to get caught out again by a friend. Or an enemy, for that matter.
As he looked over the grounds, he smirked. Life was bloody good, but it was only going to get better.
