George brushed the hair that had fallen into her eyes from her squirming. "I guess I'll have to keep an eye on you then, won't I?" he said, grinning.
He noticed that she seemed to be drifting off, and he was honestly a bit surprised that she hadn't felt tired until now. He pulled the sheets back so she could scoot under them.
"I think it's time for bed, Ver," he said, pulling the covers up around her.
