Who: Ted Tonks and [open] When: 2am 2/20 Where: St. Mungo's What: Ted goes for a late night stroll
He hadn't eaten today for lack of food. It wasn't that he hadn't been offered anything to eat, there were small amounts handed out to all the residences of St. Mungo's but he just didn't have the desire. Lock down meant that eventually they wouldn't have any food and the panic was written in most everyone's eyes. Instead he'd forfeited his share and given it to Dora. A little extra for his daughter since she was still growing and with that came a larger appetite. Who knew how long before they ran out.
It was growing more obvious by the day that his hopes for St. Mungo's having some sort of solution were false. They just seemed to be sitting around waiting for some sort of sign that was never going to come. It was aggravating to not know what to do or how to solve the problems growing in the back of his mind.
And now as he lay awake with slight stomach pains and knots he couldn't help but wonder just who was in charge of making those decisions. He looked over Andromeda; who was currently tucked against his side sleeping, towards Dora. She was fast asleep, her hair the shade of her mothers now, her abilities seemed to relax whenever she was unconscious. How the six year old was able to sleep with all the worry he would never know.
Laying his head back down on the makeshift pillow he looked up at the ceiling. Things weren't getting better like he had hoped. He had hoped things would become clearer with others around but now with the lock down in affect he was starting to think he should leave the hospital and find some place safer to house his family.
Slipping his arm out from around Andromeda gently, he sat up. Maybe a walk would clear his head enough that he could get some sleep. Ted stood up and after grabbing a sweater from the chair beside their sleeping area headed towards the door. He snuck into the hallway trying his best to be quiet and not wake the others who were sharing their room. The hall was chilly and he couldn't help tucking his hands under his arm pits as he made his way down the dim stretch.
