Trudence was still in a bit of pain from having been pummeled by fallen rock. And she hadn't been able to stop eating once someone had told her it was okay to have food. She sighed softly and tore off tiny pieces of the croissant that she was eating, looking over a book that someone had found for her. Not that she'd done much talking.
