Who: Remus and Narcissa When: March 16 Where: Remus's house. What: Catching up thread.
Remus ran his fingers through his hair as he opened the door to his mother's cottage and ushered her inside. He looked around to make sure there was no one else in the house, then let go of the hand he had on his pocket, ready to pull his wand at the slightest movement inside the house. He cleared his throat and pulled off his cardigan, placing it on the back of the couch.
"Looks like no one came in and tried to take anything." Remus told her with a small smile. "It's kind of nice to be back in my own home." He rubbed at the markings on his wrist for a moment, hoping that Narcissa didn't see them, then pulled on a new, clean cardigan.
Remus had taken to tying himself up with silver chains in order to protect the people from himself during the full moon. And though it had been three days since his turning, Remus was still feeling the effect of having been wrapped up in the chains. Silver wounds didn't heal as good. "Do you want something to eat?"
