Dean didn't know what he was going to do with explaining things to Cas. Apparently this people here from different times thing was real. He was walking towards the high school, wishing that he had Baby here. Although, in a town like this you didn't necessarily need a car for most of the important things. Dean had already been trying to find The Mellow Tiger, which was supposed to be the bar. One, that's it. One bar. Dean thought this might be one of the smallest towns he'd ever been in. Dean didn't know what he was going to say to Cas and his stomach was full of butterflies.

He knew that for him, he and Cas had been in a relationship for awhile now. Ever since Dean had been back after Amara. He knew that Cas wasn't going to remember that, with what he was talking about. Cas was probably surprised that Dean was alive. He honestly wasn't surprised that Cas wasn't from when he was, because that's how life went. It was just out to screw the Winchesters.

Walking up to Cas, who honestly did look like he needed to rest, he was going to have to hold back from kissing him, which after what he'd just seen happen to Cas before he got here was something he really wanted to do. Dean got up to Cas and touched his shoulder.

"Are you okay, baby?" The endearment he couldn't help. He'd been calling him that for a year now.

After having a talk with Dean,as well as Sam,Cas had settled himself on the small curb in front of the building. Everything felt fuzzy,strange even,more given what he'd gone through during Lucifer's possession. Reaching,the angelic being scrubbed his face with his hands,half expecting his brother to appear out of nowhere,to taunt him about his freedom being another test. Something he'd failed,again.

So naturally the touch from the hunter had him blinking at the older male. Gaze soft,confused,before he shook his head. "I don't understand what's happening,Dean."He rumbled softly. "Lucifer...this isn't another one of his games?"

Resisting the urge to kiss him, Dean reached down and took his hand, holding tightly. "Cas, I promise, this isn't something that Lucifer did, okay?" He didn't know what else to do. "Come on, baby, we need to get you somewhere and get you something to eat. There's a diner not far from here." He said, holding tightly to Cas' hand. It was, it felt like Cas was a mirage. Like he wasn't really here. Dean needed to hold onto his hand to prove to himself that Cas was real. He didn't know how this was possible, but he wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth.

Cas was... he'd seen Lucifer kill him. Dean was just... he was so shaky himself right now. Dean didn't know how to forget what he knew, even if he knew what Cas was going through since it had been a year ago. He knew how to handle this. Even if he didn't like it. Dean wasn't able to keep the tears from brushing his eyes.

"I'm just... I'm so glad to see you, baby."

The other's hand in his felt more solid then anything normally would. Offering a gentle squeeze,not using his strength given he didn't want to hurt the hunter if he could help it. Taking a shuddering breathe,he nodded and managed to get to his feet. While Luci hadn't hurt him physically,even the arch angel wouldn't hurt his own vessel no matter how temporary,it was obvious that Cas was still shaken slightly.

"I'm glad to see you as well,Dean."He admitted,frowning as he glanced around slightly before his gaze shifted back to the hunter. "Did he try to hurt you? Lucifer I mean? I couldn't...he never let me see what was happening,outside."

"I promise, he didn't do anything to me." Dean said, and when he saw how shaken Cas was, he let go of his hand long enough to wrap an arm around the angel's waist. Dean didn't know what else to do, but he clutched Cas close to him, as if he was afraid that if he let go that he was going to lose him again. Dean leaned to kiss Cas' cheek.

He started them off towards the diner, moving slowly, not wanting to rush Cas. "You're going to be okay, Cas. We're going to be fine." Dean said, his voice shaking a bit, tears dripping off his chin. It was a miracle. He didn't know how to explain it otherwise. Or maybe Chuck was responsible, maybe he had brought Cas back. "Lucifer doesn't seem to be here, baby." Dean told him, his fingers stroking Cas' side where they rested.

This felt good, having Cas in his arms again, It might even be better that Cas was a year behind. Not for him, but for Cas for sure.

Relaxing slightly at the other's touch,Cas moved to follow him toward the diner. Though he didn't,really,need to eat he would attempt to do so to appease the older hunter. His attention shifted from the building toward Dean instead,frown not leaving his face at the sight of the humans tears.

"You're upset."He murmured,tilting his head curiously,before shaking his head a little. "Good. This is good. My brother's...he would try to prey upon you and Sam."After all,the arch angel had seemed very adamant about destroying the Winchesters,Amara,the entire world. Not that there was much he could have done, really.

"I'm glad you're safe."he murmured in a soft tone,relaxing a little at the other's touch,leaning into it further.

"I'm upset but it's okay, Cas. I'm just glad that you're okay. I know you don't need to eat to live but I would feel so much better if you did. I don't want to explain why I really am upset... you don't need that right now, baby." Dean said, sniffling a bit. He was mostly just glad that Cas was here, and that he had his arm around him and he knew that Cas was going to be okay. That was the most important part.

When Cas leaned into him further, Dean's stomach fluttered with butterflies, even if he knew that Cas was most likely just doing it to be able to walk better. Dean said, "Don't worry about Lucifer, okay? He's not here, and right now we're safe from him and that's a good thing. We can be happy that we're together and we're both okay for the most part and that Sam's okay too." Dean couldn't even touch the fact that John was here. He had seen Sam say no and he knew that his brother wouldn't lie.

"I'm glad you're safe." Dean said, kissing Cas' cheek again. He squeezed him tightly, as if to remind himself that Cas was okay, that he was here.

Good,this was good. More so that his brother didn't seem to be around,and that Dean was mostly safe. Though Cas was more concerned about why the other was upset in the first place,having originally assumed Lucifer or one of the other's had had something to do with it.

The soft kiss against his cheek had him flustered a little,unfamiliar with the caring gesture. Blue gaze swinging upwards with confusion bright in them.

When Cas looked at him, Dean took a breath. They weren't far from the diner and he stopped their walking. He supposed he was going to have to explain that for him they'd been together. Dean had even been planning on asking Cas to marry him before the whole thing with Lucifer and the baby. Dean didn't let go of him though, he held onto him even tighter and looked into those blue eyes.

"Cas, for the last year.... ever since I handled the Amara situation.... we've been in a relationship. You were my boyfriend and I was yours." Dean's memory flashed on the first time they'd had sex, it had been grateful that Dean was alive and not dead sex. He shivered, it had been good. Dean said, "I know that for you we weren't... so if you don't want to be this close to me or you're not... if you don't want to be with me, it's okay. I know that I can't force you to be ready for what I am."

Honestly, Dean was just glad that Cas was alive. He could deal if they had to go back to just being friends. Even if that sex was the best of his life and he'd not ever been able to get enough. Dean wanted Cas however he could get him.

Inching to a stop when Dean did,his gaze flickered toward the diner briefly before returning to the other,confused why the other wanted to stop. Not when he'd declared his want for Cas to eat some of the mortal food the other's usually did.

His words,however,had Cas staring. Gaze narrowing in confusion as he tried to make sense of things. More so that Dean would want...him of all creatures. After all,he was observant from time to time,had seen how the females of the species looked at the hunters. Though he'd been unsure if speaking up had been wise,more so when there always seemed to be some danger underfoot,seeking to destroy the world,or the hunters, or both.

Clearing his throat,he glanced up slightly. "I've never.."He started,frowning a little and trying to wrangle up the feelings raging around inside his vessel,inside of his very being really. "I'm unfamiliar with how to...do that."he managed after a few moments.Blinking at the ground as if ashamed that he'd let Dean down in such an aspect,though the idea held his interest.

Reaching out, Dean tilted Cas head up so he could look into those gorgeous blue eyes. "Hey. I know you think that you're not good enough for me. Let me tell you something, Castiel. You saved me. You've saved me in so many ways I lost count. But it started with you yanking me out of hell. And... I truly thought I was meant to be there." Dean's voice started to shake a bit, tears filling his eyes. "But... you, you thought I deserved to be saved. No one outside of my family has ever thought that I was worth anything. You're an angel. God is literally your father. I'm not worthy of you."

Taking a deep shaky breath, Dean kept a hold of those eyes and reached out to take Cas' hand. As his fingers slid into Cas', he felt his stomach fill with butterflies. It was how he knew Cas was the one. Every time he touched him, even if it was just a touch on the shoulder, he got those butterflies going in his stomach. "And if you don't know how to be a boyfriend, it's okay. I'm not entirely sure I know how to either. Not with you, you deserve the best and I'm not sure that's me."

He leaned out and kissed Cas, softly and tenderly. He wasn't used to that, he was used to it being passionately and hungrily. When he pulled back to breathe, Dean reached up with his free hand and cupped Cas' jaw. "If you want to be with me, I'll help you. We'll help each other, okay? Look, I'm not doing it now, but I was going to ask you to marry me before... well before what happened happened." Dean said, more tears dripped off his chin.

"I'm not expecting you to be ready for that. Right now I'm just glad that you're here, and I can touch you, talk to you, be with you. Do you want to be with me, Cas? Do you want to be my boyfriend? And keep in mind, I promise, you're not losing me ever. No matter what you say. Even if you don't want the same things I want. I promise. We're still family. And family is forever."

If anything,Dean's word only made him feel just as strange as moments before. Like his wings were to big and his vessel to overwhelmed with strange,unexplained,human emotions he had no concept of. Mostly,however,Cas was concerned with the heat filling his face,absently reaching up to touch his face with a small,confused,frown at the sensation.

Before he could question the hunter about such a thing,however,Dean was kissing him. Shivering slightly at the sensation,Cas froze slightly.Not used to gesture or the feelings being kissed by the hunter caused. Blue gaze filling with confusion,with want, at the older males words,he fell silent for a moment,his own gaze searching Dean's green ones briefly.

"Y-yes. I would like that,I think."He rumbled after a few moments of pondering the idea. Hesitating,he reached to place his hand along Dean's shoulder in a familiar gesture. "I don't understand how to...perform such a gesture?"He questioned,clearly meaning how to kiss. He'd only done it once or twice,and that had been met with negatively. Or confusion,or both.

When Cas said he'd like to be with him, Dean's grin was ear to ear. Dean stepped closer, pulling Cas in with his trench coat. Which he was so used to seeing on Cas that he thought he might not ever not associate the coats with Cas. When Cas was closer, Dean slid his arms around Cas' waist. "I can teach you. Teaching's half the fun." He grinned, his hands stroking the small of Cas' back through his clothes.

Leaning out, he kissed him again, briefly. "Okay, when I kiss you, press your lips back. Kind of like if you were taking a drink of something, okay?" Dean said, those blue eyes were like looking at the ocean. Dean still couldn't quite believe that this was happening. And right now, there was nothing trying to kill them, and even if there was, they couldn't get here to Castle Rock to do it.

Licking his lips, Dean leaned out to kiss him once more, a little harder but trying not to overwhelm the angel. He wanted to nibble lightly at his lips but he figured getting Cas to learn how to kiss him back was the more important part. Then he recalled Cas saying that he'd slept wth someone before, that girl he'd worked with when he'd been a human. Dean wondered why, if they'd slept together, they hadn't kissed. Usually that's how sex started. But he wasn't going to turn teaching Cas how to kiss down. As he kissed him, he tugged Cas closer, squeezing him tightly.

The other's grin only reassured him,relaxing at the touch as he studied Dean briefly. Of course,simply watching the hunter was often a great source of interest to Cas,even if he knew the other didn't enjoy it in return.

Squinting slightly,taking in the other's words about how to kiss before the other's lips were on his again. Hesitating,Cas shifted,trying his best to do just as Dean had said. Returning the kiss with an attempt of his own briefly,his senses swimming a little at the idea of even being this close to the other. Of belonging to the older male in such a fashion.

"Did I do it correctly?"He questioned softly,tilting his head curiously,relaxing fully under Dean's fingers. After all,there seemed to be no danger pinging his senses in the immediate area,which he supposed was good.

When the kiss broke and Cas asked if he did it correctly, Dean wasn't able to keep the smile off his face. "You did great." Dean assured him, his hands reaching down to grasp Cas' rear gently. Dean was definitely a bottom, but he wasn't sure if Cas was going to want that or not. Before it hadn't been a problem, but this was new. Cas didn't remember them being together. But Dean didn't care. Because right now the angel was safe, and in his arms. Dean was touching him. He'd thought that would never happen again.

"Now I'm going to kiss you and use my tongue. It's called French kissing. Before you ask, I have no idea why. And if you don't like it it's okay. It's not for everybody. But I think you'll like it." Dean told him, and then kissed him again, hands sliding back up and around Cas' waist, as much as he'd like to still be touching Cas' ass he knew that they couldn't rush things. His tongue slid into Cas' mouth, a soft groan escaping him. His stomach was tight with desire. He wanted to rip off Cas' clothes right there and then on the sidewalk, but that would be ill advised, and he knew it.

Pressing closer, he could feel Cas' length brush against his and t was all he could do not to cry out in pleasure at the feel of it.

If anything,he was pleased that he'd done it correctly,without the older male reacting negatively like he'd assumed the hunter would have. Blinking up at him when the hunter touched him,looking unsure what to do to return such a gesture. It wasn't like hugging,as Sam had taught him,and he didn't want to upset Dean by doing something wrong.

The French Kiss was,thankfully,less confusing thanks in part to Dean's words. Though it didn't stop him from stilling instantly when the other's tongue entered his mouth,the soft groan Dean made electing a small shiver from him. Unsure of what to do,he shifted,repeating the gesture from moments ago,blue gaze soft,full of worry that he was doing it wrong.

Drawing back after a moment,he stared at Dean quizzically. "Is it meant to make my vessel feel strange? This French Kiss?"He questioned softly

Smiling at him, Dean said, "It's meant to turn you on. Make you want sex. So if that's what it did then yes, baby, that's what it's meant to do." Dean didn't mind having to explain things to him, Cas was the most precious things he'd ever seen in his life. Cas' unique look at the world was part of the reason Dean had fallen in love with him in the first place. It sent a shiver through him that Cas had liked it, just as he knew he would. He could barely think straight when his arms were full of Cas, no pun intended.

"Was it okay that I grabbed your ass? I mean.... I don't want to push you but at the same time it's a fine ass and I've gotta admit I love touching it." Dean blushed as red as a tomato, but he'd always been an ass man anyway. And he knew what kind of body Cas was hiding under all those clothes. The l word wanted to come out, and while he'd said it to Cas before, even before they'd started dating, he just wasn't sure if now would be the right time to say it. Although Dean had never said that to someone in a relationship before, and actually meant it. Although, Lisa was the last relationship he'd had before Cas, and he honestly didn't think he'd been in love with her.

Looking into those blue eyes, Dean licked his lips. "You want to kiss me again?"

"I see."He murmured softly,frowning a little. Not that he wouldn't indulge in such an act,if Dean wished him to,but thinking about sex with the hunter had yet to cross his mind. Given he was often busy figuring out how to save the brothers,or fretting over if the human was safe and well.

"I don't...is that what were meant to do for affection?"He questioned softly,more then curious. No that he had any preference whether or not he cared. If Dean wished to touch him,Cas was more then fine with such sensations. Though the angel would,mostly likely,ask questions about feelings that ran through him,or why he felt things like he did currently.

Falling silent a moment,the question jerking him out of his drifting curious thoughts,before his gaze swung back up to Dean. "I find the sensation enjoyable."He murmured,agreeing a little.

Laughing, Dean leaned his head against Cas' shoulder for a moment, trying to catch his breath. "Fuck, Cas, I love you." He didn't even realize he'd said it out loud. H was just so glad that Cas was here. "You don't have to be ready for sex if you don't want to be, Cas. But I promise you, when we do have sex, you will beg for more. I promise it will be worth it."

Dean kissed him again, his hands reaching and slipping underneath Cas' coat and untucking Cas' shirt, his fingers spreading across Cas' sides, tickling him softly. Dean just wanted to be touching bare skin. His own length was starting to stand at attention, just from having Cas so close. Especially with Cas' manhood so close.

When the kiss broke again, Dean's cheeks fire engine red, he looked into those blue eyes. "Relax, baby. I'm not going to let anything happen to you, okay? Come on, though, we need to get some food in you, angel healing or not." Dean told him, but he made to move to go, in fact he snuggled in closer and burrowed his head in Cas' neck.

The words had him freezing,the unfamiliar sensations flooding through him the longer he dwelled on them. Of course,he'd had sex with a human before,but it hadn't exactly elected the same feelings he felt now. If anything it had been more irritating them anything else. Thankfully,the older hunter kissing him,touching his skin distracted him from the memory.

"I don't require food like you do."He pointed out in a soft tone,though it was more then obvious given his angelic nature. Though if Dean really wanted him to eat,he would try to at the very least,even if it tasted nothing like humans thought it did.Blinking down at the other when he snuggled closer,Cas hesitated,fingers hovering near the hunter,unsure if the other would have enjoyed him touching or not.

Dean knew that Cas didn't need food. "I know you don't need to eat, just humor me, okay?" Dean said. "Not to mention I'm starved." He was already thinking about the burger that he was sure awaited him. Dean's voice was muffled, because he was still keeping his head buried in Cas' neck. "You can touch me, Cas, it's okay." Dean knew Cas wasn't sure of what to do because he was still getting used to human things. "Always assume you can touch me unless I say no."

Taking a deep sniff of the angel, which was rapidly becoming like home to him, Dean lifted his head and reached down to take Cas' hand. Dean wasn't sure what he was doing, making Cas eat. But honestly he didn't know how else to help him. Dean just wanted him to feel better. He stroked the back of Cas' hand with this thumb. Dean was glad that Cas hadn't seemed to be freaked out that he'd said that he loved him. Dean didn't want to scare him more than he already was. Even if they knew Lucifer didn't have anything to do with this, didn't mean that Cas wasn't still worried.

"Don't worry, okay? Right now there's nothing we can do but try and relax a little, baby."

"If that is what you wish."He murmured,agreeing in a soft tone. If anything,he didn't want to disappoint the hunter,even if it was something as simple as consuming food with him. Shakily,he reached out,looking unsure as he settled a hand against Dean,glancing up with a confused expression to make sure he was doing such a gesture correctly.

Moving to follow him,blinking down at their linked hands with a crease of his forehead. Being with a human was..strange. New. Though some small part of him was glad that the hunter was teaching him things. "I do not know how to do that."He pointed out,glancing back up.

Dean made a contented noise when Cas told him that he'd do it if Dean wanted it. He was glad that Cas was trying to appease him. Dean squeezed his fingers. "I love you, Cas. You can relax. If I have to I'll help you." Dean told him, turning to smile at him. That face, he could stare into it for hours and not get bored. It was perfect, he was so sexy, especially when he had some stubble going. It was so manly. He licked his lips as he looked into those eyes. They were gorgeous.

"Cas, there is nothing that you could ever do that would disappoint me, okay? I love you how you are, and that includes the fact that you can't relax. But I promise, we'll get a place to stay and I'll show you how to cuddle and you'll feel so much better." Dean squeezed his fingers again. He didn't know how he'd gotten so lucky that Cas wanted to be with him. Dean felt a swelling of love for him in his stomach.

"That might freak you out, Cas, but I love you. I love you so much and I can't help from saying it. Please, don't be weirded out, okay? I just... I love you so much that I need to say it."
