Typically she didn't hang around men who didn't keep themselves exceptionally clean - but Alexi smelled fine enough and he wasn't visibly covered in dirt, it was fine enough. No, far more than his lackluster appearance (although those eyes, have you seen them?) it was his seeming lack of ambition in life that bothered her.
But these kinds of meetings - these weren't about lifelong goals, discussions of future plans. These were celebratory gatherings, Dia letting go of her very tightly controlled nature and enjoying a bit of the darker, wilder side that she had. Alexi was good for that, despite the fact that they hadn't hung out all that much. She could just feel it. He was full of the sort of wild, reckless abandon she wished she could have.
