"He is still my best friend, silly. He doesn't claim any more than that." It was true and she knew why, though she didn't talk about it. It wasn't her business to say things about his gender preference since he himself had never acknowledged it. She just let it go typically.
"Of course you do. I'm quite special really." This said with a soft laugh. She had confidence in that much, even if she knew there were things she wasn't great at. Those things were school things so she could manage.
