He released her hand so she could return to what she was doing. "It's possible to succeed with the arts, yes. But so few do, and I'm not nearly as good as some of the ones that get passed by. Enjoying yourself isn't enough, unfortunately."
R grinned, proud of her. "I'll apologize now since I'm going to kick your team's collective ass, but otherwise I'm sure you'll do great. If you need help studying you know that I'm here to help you." He neglected to comment on the whispered spell, too relieved when the brush started to comb through his hair easier.
