Ok, so maybe Jack wasn't the worlds most musically inclined individual, but he wasn't without some talent. Why, he'd come to learn while letting his voice reflect off the bathroom tiles while in the shower (that still counted, right?), or matching pitch with that little green Christmas bulb that had been following him around for the past day or so, since this lawl worthy prank had started. Seriously, who ever thought this up was an utter genius, and he surprisingly hadn't had a hand in any of it, it was not really his style. Which totally meant he was free from any sort of deflect that would cause the fingers to point in his direction, resulting in a pile more detention on top of what what he already had. But he kind of wish he had now, with the notable annoyed reactions earned mostly from teachers. It was pure and utter gold.
Thankfully, he was able to suggest a quite spot to Reiji at his request for a hand with stringing together a few thoughts he'd scribbled down in his head, adding a few chords just to see how it would mesh together. If there was anyone he knew that music had come easiest to, it had to be Reiji. On occasion, Jack had listened to him strum on his guitar, and hum a tune during the moments where he thought no one was listening. So, maybe a few pointers there as well? Who knows. Jack was just interested in trying something he never had before, seeing just how he'd do with it. Why not, right!? YOLO!
Well, at least he would bring the poor guy payment, via candy snacks for his troubles. And if anything else, they would get to know each other in depth a bit better. So, Jack sat on the soft sofa, hunched over the glass table where his scribbler had been opened to the pages of words written in his own scratching that he was now rewriting in a neater way, along the defined lines of the sheet. There had been a few things he'd jotted down as of late, and he really wanted to express them in a way that provided a form of outlet other than his usual mischievous antics. Perhaps he should have taken to the halls and frosted them over in a mural of artistic expression again, as he did the past year. Naw, been there, done that. One on one time with Reiji it is! Maybe it would also give him something to dabble in alone, while everyone else was on Christmas holidays.
