"You don't need to thank me, but you're welcome," Misha replied, wandering over to the other side of the room. The light was better, the surface more firm, and he wasn't sure he trusted himself to have Bella so close to his bed.
"If you want to take a seat on the sofa there... might work best."
He set the small dish of water on the table in front of the couch, and caught a glimpse of the purple band around his wrist.
"Oh here, I almost forgot this. I wouldn't normally have any, but I think it's one of Mari's."
