"Very good," Harry said gently, taking his arm again and leading him out of the portrait and down the hall to her rooms. "That's it, you're doing just fine," she said as she opened the door, letting him in and leading him to one of the overstuffed easy chairs tucked into the corner of her room. She crossed the room to the fire, where she'd set a cauldron of water boiling before she left, and ladled some into cups. She packed some tea into strainers and then set them in the cups to steep, setting one in front of Jackson before she went to retrieve some of the cookies she'd baked a few days ago. "Not fresh, unfortunately, but they should still be good," she said as she arranged them on a plate and set that on the table as well. "There we go," she said as she finally settled in. "Now. Would you like to talk, or just brood?"
