Re: Dance Floor: Tobias and Belle
Belle smirked faintly. "I was brought up in two worlds in many ways. France and the United States. Magical and muggle. Old and new." Because she had been brought up by her grandparents in her early life as much as her father, and then moving here and the change of environment made her life a study in contradictions. She loved her family, all of them, even if her grandparents had wanted an unrealistic situation for her- her as a wife and mother and nothing more. She was their heir, after all.
"Money is not something I shall ever find myself lacking in." Because for all that she could be interested in fine things, she was frugal and skilled enough to make sure that she managed her money competently. A small smile curved her lips as she moved to seat herself on a windowsill. The starry night sky set off her appearance well, though she was not thinking much on that right now.
"Truly though, as minister you will leave a legacy even if you do not manage the traditional route of marriage and family." Belle shrugged. "I have never considered children as an ambition. I assume I shall have them one day, but it has never been a driving idea in my head as business has always been." Children would hinder that unless she had them raised by a nanny, which she supposed was possible. She could take some time off, but she did not want to entirely give up her career for her family.
"If you share beliefs and interests, I cannot but imagine that romance would follow if there is attraction as well." Though she did not know much about romance, as she did not tend to focus on it as much as she did her ambitions and her schoolwork.
