"Ohhh, that's so wrong," Brinley said, "and besides, there's a whole team of hungry Gryffindors. Unless you cheated by putting something in them, you'd be out of luck. We share." Most of the time. It'd hurt to share a lot of cookies though because Brinley would just want to curl up in her bed with her favorite collection of Robert Frost poems and gobble them all down.
She smiled as he talked about how he baked with his mom and then nodded slowly, "That'd be fun. Maybe we can compare recipes for some good stuff. Then we'll both end up being useless on the pitch."
Brinley made a mental note about the peppermint bark. There was always gobs of it around as the holidays got closer. The time for pumpkin was coming to a close and peppermint was going to soon take over everything. Getting the bark would be a cinch. She laughed, "You know, considering how quickly you eat your other food, this doesn't surprise me at all. Oh, so, um, how are those experiments going? Any luck with your metabolism?"
