Re: Misha/Bella
Bella had never come right out and said it, but they were both clear on the fact that it was her father who had hit her that day, driving her into the bed of a 'blood traitor' as some kind of ironic side effect. Valentino Sorrento seemed to think of his daughter more as a possession he could trade away for higher social standing, and unfortunately that wasn't unusual among some families. Leaving their children black and blue, however, was less common. Misha was ready to fly out of the room and rage to the nearest person who would listen. All that kept him from doing so was his own relief and his concern for Bella's safety.
"So, you're still..."
A virgin? The question nagged at him, but that wasn't what was important. It had taken Misha some time to comes to terms with that and he wasn't going to give it up now.
"Ash certainly played along with it," he said, remembering back to that day by the lake. If he had to question Ash's motivations, then there was almost nothing in the world that he could really know. Ash had been protecting Bella? Misha finally found his feet again and took a few steps closer to her.
