"I'll fade eventually," Ash said and often times it did. He sunned in the summer and his body was a nice bronzed color. Then as the winter months came around and he spent less time outdoors and more time inside sleeping, the tan faded and he grew a little paler.
He flashed a grin that was more devilish than innocent, "Who? Me?" Her hand found his, fitting nicely there and that thought faded as quickly as it arrived. Ash said, "Sure. Though I would like a little time alone later." Which could lead to all sorts of trouble and they both knew it. But he wasn't going to keep that from him. He was going to make it very, very hard for Lyra to keep saying no.
