"They smelled like lumberjacks. It was terrible. I hated it." But his words actually made her feel bad. It was true. He could've been having some amazing relationships with girls if he hadn't scared them off. But in the same breath, thinking of him with someone else hurt deep inside as well. "Maybe. Or at least until I found the perfect person for you."
"Yeah, well you're a better person than I am, so being in a relationship with you is probably a lot more awesome than being in one with me." She mumbled even if her slightly cold hands were happy to hold his warmer ones.
The kiss had meant to only be a peck. Trouble was surprised when he pulled her closer and deepened it then. It felt nice though... better than nice as the kiss lingered a little longer and her hands mvoed to slowly slide around his neck.
