That word. "Date." Every time someone said it in conjunction with her and Meru, she felt like her face was going to catch fire. She was getting better at controlling that reaction so she didn't end up just speaking out verbal vomit but the blush was the hardest part to hold down. "Thanks," she managed, her eyes shifting away briefly. Brinley was always so good about looking people in the eye but compliments made it hard.
"Dance? Wait, wait, you said go here together, you didn't mention dancing as part of this," Brinley teased, though she was a little anxious about dancing. She danced plenty of times with friends but it was different when she was there on a date.
