Re: Outside of the Great Hall
Liam shrugged and smiled a bit, "You didn't kick as much as you think you do, at least not... last time we were in the same bed together..." His voice trailed, sensing the apprehension in her voice. She wasn't saying no, but she didn't sound elated either; yet, he understood that. He wasn't elated either, not in a complete sense at any rater; if anything, he was still fearful. They both were, it was a big, possibly dangerous step in terms of their friendship.
He reached out and took her hands, pulling her close to him, "I'm going to answer this in two ways. First, I promise that no matter what happens? I'll always still be your friend, no matter how things work out. I'm not going anywhere. Things will change, right? There will always be a new dynamic, but we've weathered a lot as friends before..."
Watching her eyes for reaction he shrugged, "And secondly, if I haven't grown sick of you yet with all of your pranks on me like, literally every other day? And instead want to spend even more time with you? I'd argue there's likely no chance in hell we'll ever have to worry about me growing sick of you. And that's why I was so scared of bringing this up, Trouble, because I can't lose you either. But I also really can't deal with you dating someone again, and thinking about how I feel. I have to be with you."
