Re: Reiji & Bucky (and maybe Steve)
Bucky was waiting for Steve to return with food and drinks from the refreshments table, having accepted the fact that he wasn't going to be too useful in carrying much back. The party was fun, or at least he was trying very hard to have a good time, but it was much more crowded than he liked, too loud with the music. Something he might have once liked, but now had him a bit more anxious than he would have preferred.
Having the Batman mask at least gave him something to hide behind without feeling like too many people were staring with him. Everyone else in costume did a lot to ease that feeling. Unfortunately it also go too warm, sticking to his face with a light sheen of sweat as he removed it. He quietly watched some of the dancing couples, wondering how much pouting he'd have to do in order to convince Steve of at least one dance.
Pushing a few strands of dampened hair out of his eyes, Bucky nearly jumped at the sudden angry shout so close to him, realizing the accusation was at him as soon as he identified who exactly was standing behind him. Because it was him. And wow, did he always look that pissy? But obviously it wasn't him, and there was only one person that Bucky knew of that had the ability to shape shift into him. And that was Reiji.
"I am vengeance," Bucky growled out in a deep, dark voice, standing up to his full height to face down the mirror image of himself. He reached for his mask, holding it back over his face. "I am the night," he continued, having a horrible time trying not to laugh himself. But he couldn't blow this delivery. "I. Am. Batman," he declared, right before cracking into a very loud laugh, head thrown back. "Ohmygod," he breathed out before punching Reiji hard in the shoulder. "Motherfucking asshole."
