Dance Floor: Tobias and Belle
"It is likely. Many families can claim descent from kings at various times. It was the right of the king, after all, to bed where and when he wanted." A fact that bothered her a little because it lowered a woman's body to a mere commodity, but the fact was that for most of time that was what women were considered. "Queens were expected to be chaste and perfect. Queen Anne overstepped. She was not meek, nor was she willing to lie down and take whatever Henry wished her to. She wanted more." Which was a feeling she recognized honestly.
Blood status was not something she was very concerned about. She was halfblood, yes, and yet she was more gifted than some of her classmates of more pure status. She was intelligent and skilled magically and so there was no reason to think that she was anything but equal or better than those around her. Wealth and good breeding served her well. While she rarely thought much about it, she knew that she behaved differently from those around her for the most part. She felt that mattered more than blood -something that could be lied about or easily altered given the number of bastards that still existed. Hiding a mixed blood child in a pure family would not be hard.
"A well-read and clever rebel that would seek to free his Queen from the bonds that her husband puts on her. One who is willing to accept who she is and not attempt to change her or use her." She moved with him, her body following the steps that he was leading her in easily. She was certain they looked good- better than most there if she were honest. Modesty was overrated and she much preferred to focus on her good points, as well as his, and how they tied together.
