Something about dressing up as a vampire mildly amused Ash. People often called him a vampire or a night owl because of his tendency to stay up late. The night was his favorite part of a day, which was funny because it was the exact opposite of the day. And on All Hallow's Eve, it seemed to give Ash even more energy than usual. His costume fit him snugly and he'd used a smell to give the illusion of pointed canines. His hair was combed neatly and his color-changing eyes only seemed to add to the effect.
He wasn't the only one to dress up as a vampire. Quinn and James had done so as well, and Poppy had joined in. They'd all arrived together as a big group but Ash separated from them once he got a look at Lyra. Lyra who burned as brightly as a phoenix in the sea of students. He licked at his lips unconsciously and decided to make a hunt of this. It would be like Sera's party, only she didn't know where he was. That made it more fun. It brought out the predatory nature of Ash's personality.
He was behind her and ignoring the fact that other students seemed to be staring at him, he reached out, pulling Lyra to press against him and then playfully nipped at her neck, "You look good enough to eat."
