When she looked up, Thor couldn't help but be slightly taken by her eyes. They were large and open and he was easily sucked into them. At her quick response to the nickname he'd given her, he smirked a little and moved in closer. Leaning his hip against the table, he looked down over the work she was doing and nodded impressed. She was far too smart for him and that scared him a little. If he was lucky enough to get involved with her, he was worried about keeping her interest. No one could claim him to be the sharpest tool in the shed. He wasn't stupid, far from it, but he also wasn't anywhere near top of his class.
If he were completely honest, Bailey intimidated him to a small degree. However, he wasn't going to show her that. Not yet. Maybe not ever. "What are you working on?" Looking more closely at her work, he leaned in a little and then back. "Arithmancy? I've always wondered how you would apply that in real life other than being a teacher."
