Hunter lifted his head from where he had been and looked at his sister's face. There was fear of him there, no coercion. He had a way of sensing if his sister was lying to his face and all he saw from her was truth. It was a truth that would condemn them to secrecy, but completely free them at the same time.
Hunter made sure to catch his sister's gaze, their eyes meeting, before he leaned in to kiss her. It wasn't the first time their lips had met. It likely wasn't less than the hundredth time, but it was the first time it meant something so important. Perhaps it was cliché, but to Hunter his twin tasted like everything he loved. She was home, and happiness, and for the first time, like a heat that he could finally let himself touch. Hunter gave a small moan as his lips parted and he tentatively stroked over Fawn's bottom lip with the tip of his tongue.
