The moment Hunter reached out and touched her, Fawn seemed to calm a slight bit. He was always the first to sooth her fears and calm her troubles, even if they were about him. She reached out and took hold of the edge of his shirt like it was a lifeline.
"It was all my fault. I was the one who wanted that. I was the one who urged you on, but I promise. I wont do it again. I'll be good." The mention of their father and his words though made her both hurt and angry. It was why she had disliked her parents more and more as they'd gotten older.
