Hunter had been avoiding her. It was something new and wholly unwelcome. Never before has they ever been far apart. Most mornings he was the first person she talked to and at nights he was the last he touched. It made her happy to do so. She loved him after all.
But she had let some of her darker thoughts of her love towards him rise to the surface. This wasn't out of the blue after all, this desire to touch and be touched by her brother. It was innocent curiousity at first since they were so close. Something that she would've never asked him for. Since the bite though, things had changed. She had dreams of him. The way his body had changed, the feel of him holding her at night had translated into something else.
But she had hidden it, afraid that this very thing would happen. So she was careful, missing classes so he could go instead and staying away from him. The flowers though had given her hope.
Hearing his voice though. she immediately glanced up towards him and offered her warmest smile possible. "hey... how was class?" She asked in hopes of bringing things back to normal.
