When Fio cuddled in against him, Atticus was happy to have her. She felt amazing in his hold, and there wasn't a man on earth who wouldn't be happy to have her that close to them. He laughed at her suggestion about it being a bit more, and Atticus shrugged, "I can't give out all of my weaknesses, or let them show all the time... and you're not a distraction. I mean, you are, but in the best way possible. A welcome, needed distraction."
When she mentioned Jackson, he frowned a bit and just rolled his eyes, "Well good for him. Hopefully he does so well he can just leave school and we won't have to worry about it again."
Atticus offered with a scoff, then raised a brow in her direction, while watching her, leaning in to place a soft kiss against her lips, "So, back to how you're doing, not Jackson, how is your music coming? Any auditions for you at all for anything?"
