He could spot a challenge when he saw one and he didn't want to disappoint, but he supposed he would have to try. Turning to a new page, he quietly wrote her birthdate and name - once she'd given it. Numerology wasn't an exact science. That much he was aware of. Odd numbers were assigned masculine undertones while even were assigned feminine. Both times her name came out eleven. "You're eleven. Given that you can reduce it to a two, but it's still an odd number, that means you contain both the masculine and feminine traits." He felt nervous, but he'd continue. He couldn't just say no because he couldn't be certain. A lot of numerology was that you could confirm what you knew. Over the birthday, he wrote Virgo.
"Elevens are intuitive, practical, sensible...Perhaps a touch unconventional, but..." Here he shrugged a little. A mix of two and ones, really. He looked at her quietly for a moment, trying to match what he knew of her with what he knew of the numbers themselves. "Being a teacher is almost a natural. You're perceptive and you are aware of your surroundings wherever you are, which would explain the investigation job. You're more of a loner than you are someone that spends a lot of time with others. If the numbers are right, you have a fondness for art and music and you are prone to a certain nervousness. Mmm...and you may be a bit tempermental." As an additional, he added, "And those born on the 14th have a tendency to need to travel, to leave and do new things."
As for Virgo. "You're a Virgo. Once again, Virgos tend to be practical, efficient, critical - of both self and others." He paused, eyes closing as he tried to remember the rest. "Once again, the worrier, which probably surfaces as nervous energy. I'm sure meticulous and reliable also suit. I've seen the greenhouses after all." He smiled a touch as he opened his eyes again. "And a perfectionist. You like things just so."
After a moment, he said, "Of course, a lot of that could have been things that people have noticed over the years or with close observation. But only if you didn't realize they were watching. I have a feeling if you knew, they wouldn't see everything." He paused. "I'm a Capricorn. January 2, 1996. That's another long explanation."
