As she went through his pictures, Nicky focused on her face, on her expressions, trying to gauge how she felt about the art or if there was any sort of disinterest. However, she seemed absorbed in it, so he didn't think she disliked his sketches. She was far more careful with them than some might have been. It made him feel at ease, like she was someone he could trust. Not that he'd doubted her before, but you couldn't always be certain someone wouldn't just flip through and risk tearing the pages.
"I wish I could do either," he said after a moment. "I've tried cooking, but I could burn water." He'd never tried to dance, though. Not really. It wasn't because he thought it was beneath him or because he was 'too manly' or whatever the excuse was. He just hadn't. "But I suppose you're right. Though, people find art less strange than complicated mathematics or historical recitations when it comes to winding down." He could almost hear Jenna calling him a nerd from wherever she was in the castle.
"Did you take classes to learn how to dance? I believe they have those in the muggle world." He paused. "Not that they wouldn't in the wizarding world. There is, after all, the dance club here...if that still...happens."
