"Yeah, but I can't leave a job half-done, Lyra," Ash gave as a flimsy excuse. He would test the waters on her thighs eventually, but for now he was fine taking care of those slender calves with the smooth muscle underneath. As long as she wasn't jerking away, Ash would keep going, and he knew when to back off too. Ash could understand no, he just wasn't accustomed to hear it very often.
Ash tilted his head at Lyra, "Okay, Lyra. How about this, tonight you and I go hunt down whatever animal you feel like tracking. While there, you can tell me exactly what you think you know about me. And I can tell you what I think I know about you." He paused in the application again, his fingers curled around the back of her knee and the color-changing eyes looking directly into Lyra's.
