Who: Keara Luke and some NPC assholes Where: Third floor hallway When: Tuesday Oct 6th, evening. What: Luke sees just what some students think of the shapeshifter. Rating: pg-13 for violence and bad language.
Getting a chance to be around Luke was fast becoming one of Keara's first priorities after school. If there was a chance to be close, then they took it. She'd been coming over to his place more often, but there was danger to that. People could catch them and then Luke would get in trouble. They couldn't go outside quite yet, so meeting out in the empty archery field together was impossible. It was a stroke of inspiration that she suggested the room of requirements. It was the best and worst kept secret in the school, but once locked from the inside, no one could get in and there were enough people using it that they'd never figure it out.
Keara had been walking down the hall after having changed out of her school uniform and into something more comfortable. The black jeans were a little lose and her tank top was tight and clung to her curves. Keara paused though the moment that she saw a few students walking in her direction. They were guys that she knew and had more than a few problems with her. They didn't like the 'fake faggy boy' in their hallway. Over the years, they'd bully her, but she'd always fought back. She just hated it when they went after her on one of those girl days.
There were four of them and the tallest elbowed his friend as he spotted Kea. The smile that grew on their faces promised trouble, and immediately her body tensed, arms flexing. Her hair went from the vibrant shade of blue to a colorless black.
"Look what we have here." One of them said as the rest loomed behind him. "It's the little freak. What are you doing freak? Trying to be a good little girl today?" The group laughed and Keara tried to move past them but was blocked off.
"Fuck off and get out of my way." She growled and tried to move past them again. The largest wasn't having any of it though as he shoved her back and to the ground. He was bigger and stronger than her, and Keara knew that from experience.
"Now why would we do that? We don't let little freaks in our halls. Maybe if you promised to be a good girl for the rest of the year we might just let you leave in one piece... or maybe we should just remind you why you should be a girl. I'm sure you'd like it." The not so subtle threat was there. And Keara immediately tensed again, her hand reaching for her wand. One of the ones on the left moved to kick her arm, knocking the wand away.
Fear threatened to bubble up inside her, but she fought it off, choosing instead to stand up, her hands tightening into fists. When the first one got too close, she swung hard, clocking him in the side of the head knocking him back slightly. The second one grabbed her though and she kicked him hard. He let go, but the largest punched he straight on, giving her a bloody nose and what would be a black eye.
Keara stumbled backwards and shook her head. With a glare, she shifted her appearance to her masculine shape before charging again. At least this way, the guys wouldnt be able to threaten her like before again. But it also had the negative affect of making them more angry. Kea put up quite the fight, but it was four on one and soon it was more of an attempt to protect himself rather than get the other guys down.
