Bailey was glad to have Peter let go of the discussion of propriety. It was hard to explain when it was so intimate to how she was. It formed the foundations too of how she approached her research - and her gambling as research.
"It was not something I expected, since he is interested in technology not just magic. But there is more to his work apparently. I don't yet know how, but I am excited to see." Bailey grinned, brushing her hair from her face. "I guess Arithmancy is to me what Potions is to you? It just... makes sense to me... and yet challenges me." Her smile widened a little at the comparison.
"I should let you finish your potion though. I'm sure I've distracted you more than enough for the boiling time, and I should find Ophelia before she gets overly distracted herself..." Bailey collected her things up again. "Thank you for indulging me... its nice to talk to someone who... understands." At least understood the passion for scholarly things.
