"It really is fine, Bailey, but thanks for your consideration. Things like this happen, it's not always in our control," Peter couldn't bring himself to allow someone to take 'blame' over something as silly as startling a person. It was just how he was, and was not, wired after all.
Watching the young girl as she spoke of Lae, Peter just smiled and raised a brow, "Isn't she? So I take it you're the talkative one of the bunch then, not that I've ever pegged you as too much of a talker... then again, I talk enough for at least three people in one room. So I'm not one to judge..."
Smirk held though and he tilted his head a bit, "Well if a conversation is what you're looking for, and you're bored I guess I could oblige though I highly doubt I have too much to offer in terms of interesting topics." Staring back at the young woman, he then frowned, "I suppose, yea, it's only been a few years. Still, feels so long ago, maybe it's because I've done the maturing thing too fast out of school. Now I just feel old."
