They began their walk and the heels were proving to look great on her but not so functional for walking through grass and soft earth. When the weather got cooler, it wouldn't be so much of a problem when the top layer of soil froze. It was good to see her ready and willing to take those nice shoes off. Not to protect the shoes but to be more comfortable.
Without her shoes, she didn't stand quite as tall as before. Ash looked down at her and grinned, "Because you are. You need me to warn you of dangerous to come? Or would you rather sit on my shoulders?" He was joking for the most part, but if she did agree, it would be fun to do that. And then, of course, they'd have to go into the lake.
