"Joseph?" Ash asked and then chuckled, "He seems the type to end up a pain in the ass, but he doesn't seem all that bad. But I'm not the one having to deal with him, so I guess that's why." He enjoyed the way her fingers felt along his thigh. It was a simple soft action and both arousing and relaxing. The bath and scent of lavender didn't necessarily make him sleepy, but it certainly was helping him unwind and think of things that weren't so frustrating.
He did give her question a moment's thought before answering. "I'm often keeping myself entertained," he said, "Played catch-up with some friends I hadn't seen since before the summer or since the summer. A pretty quiet year so far, save for Death Eaters leaving a dead body on Hogwarts's doorstep like a cat leaving a gift for someone they like. Only, you know, there isn't much love behind the action."
The news hit the paper and his parents didn't mention it at all. Ash didn't want to think as to why, because if they weren't worried, well, that opened the door to questions he wasn't all that interested in having answers to.
