Ophelia had spent some time with Gabe in her potions lab, and she knew that R would be looking for her. Well, he should be. She frowned when it seemed like a long time passed, and she looked at the door, trying to see if she heard anyone coming. She didn't at the moment, but then there was some sort of sound, distant, in the hallway. She frowned slightly as she moved toward the door, the sound growing louder as she did so. Another sound, softer than the feminine yelling, underlay the noise and she moved closer, her eyes flickering around and her wand out. Someone screaming was never a good thing, and she moved forward cautiously toward the yelling.
When she saw the figure curled on the ground she blinked in confusion, taking in the scene before her. R was curled on the floor and a woman was screaming at him. The language was unfamiliar and she didn't know if Lae would know it but she knew she didn't have time for figuring that out. Her body tensed and her wand raised, her legs carrying her closer. "Leave him alone!"
She didn't expect the female to turn to her, and as she did, she became a he, hair shortening and turning blond as she watched. A red streak, then another and another, marred the pale flesh as the figure fell, and her mismatched eyes widened. "Lae..." But it wasn't him and she knew that. She had watched the form change. A boggart. She hated boggarts more than just about anything outside of her parents, but she could do this. She thought she could anyway. Her eyes narrowed as she looked at the figure and she shifted, pointing her wand to cast the spell to eliminate it.
Three attempts later, silent, and she was able to laugh at the stupid marionette she had created from her brother's prone form, dispelling the boggart for now. She knelt by R's side, resting one hand on his shoulder lightly. "Breathe..."
