“You’re an invalid,” Marie said as she went about wrapping Roarke’s ribs nice and tight. She made sure the bandage was secure so he couldn’t twist or bend the wrong way and hurt himself more. She hoped the numbing salve she had put on would help with any pain he felt.
“I’m going to tell Sebastian about this,” Marie said as she worked, “so he knows and so he can make sure you rest.”
