"No," Wan answered. "I didn't know it. And I don't mind sharing."
Wan took a deep breath and as he exhaled, let himself fall backwards so he could stare up through the leaves. They weren't turning colors yet, but they would be soon. A couple weeks at most and then the deep green would shift to yellow and orange and red. It would beautiful until they all fell away and left the trees bare for winter. Then there'd be a different kind of beauty. Though, admittedly, the cold was not something he looked forward to.
