"Easier said than done," Hannah admitted, "but you know, parents. They want things planned out because it makes them feel better. They want to think that by our age we have all of this figured out. I don't think they knew at this age, but they have hopes for us." They had a lot more than their parents did. Hannah's family was still considered relatively new to their wealth, after all, and so with the nice things and the education, it felt like it should make sense that she'd have a clearer idea. In the end, indecision was a plague of all youth.
She smiled and then asked, "So ideally, what would you do? If you had to go and do what you wanted to do right now. You sound like you have a good enough idea with traveling to see beasts. But what would you do?"
