Hunter shared his sister's love of sweets, although his came with a more natural bent. He could eat fresh fruit and berries until he was near bursting, but cakes and candies never really appealed to him. It was just another reason why he grieved the end of summer. Many berries could be store bought, but it just wasn't the same as picking them off the vine in his backyard.
"I don't know that that's very safe, Fawn," he said of her suggestion, though he knew he would insist they take the long way. ever since the night of the attack, the night he had locked her in the basement, Hunter had been going out of his way to try and win back his sister's favour.
"But I suppose there are plenty of people around..."
