Who: Lyra and Ash Where: Hogsmede When: Sept 19, afternoon What: Running into one another Rating: tbd
Hogsmedes weekends were always just a breath of fresh air in the midst of classes and homework. Lyra tended to count the days down between them, wishing that they were more than once a month. She could get out of the sometimes stifling castle and walk about with friends, buy a few things and eat a few sweets. Her father sent pocket money with the promise that she tell him how the weekend was and keep him updated as always. Honestly, he just wanted to feel like he wasn't constantly just spoiling her by giving her a requirement for the money.
So she went out with a group of friends, including some of her roommates and a few of the boys from her house, including her boyfriend from last year. It seemed that he wasn't quite over her yet as he tried to stay close and flirt. Within the hour, she was grateful to find an excuse and slip away from the group, letting out a breath as she rounded one of the shops, heading in the direction of the bookstore. While she liked David, she didn't think of him like that, and the one boy she had thought about like that had little intention of trying anything.
Lyra tried to forget about Ash, trying not to think about him and the disaster that had been the ride to school. Since then, she hadn't really been around the male. They had different classes and he was around more people to flirt with. He'd probably forgotten her already and it was better that way.
