Tony watched the instant dropping in Wan's demeanor and filed it back into his mind. He didn't think that this young man really understood what the internship would require honestly. He was a fifth year, even if he was past the point of being of age, so there was a disconnect there between what would be needed and what Wan could do.
"You don't have OWL scores yet." This was an obvious statement that would begin the letdown. "While I appreciate your enthusiasm and interest I don't think that this year would be the right time for you." His eyes flickered over the young man before him, curious for a moment. "I imagine though I could look into writing a proper recommendation if you had a job that would interest you. My name tends to mean something."
